The last several days our house has been filled with the music of Winifred Horan’s new album, The Memory of Magic. From French tunes, original pieces, and lullabies to bluegrass jams, it is a listening delight inspired by this remarkable artist’s earliest memories – before she was aware of life’s hardships, when magic was still possible.

Cary was invited to be the guitarist on her northwest record release tour, so I got the pleasure of hearing the album debuted live during their performances at the Landmark in The Dalles and the Winona Grange in Tualatin! It was a privilege I will not soon forget.
