Another off-year election is in the bag. While Democrats have cause to celebrate, there is also well-found reason to proceed with extreme caution advancing toward the 2020 Presidential campaign. (A recent NY Times poll shows Trump easily able to beat any of the three front runners were the election held today.)
Major victories for the blue party include flipping the Virginia State Legislature as well as the governship of Kentucky. But as I type, the incumbant, Trump-backed Republican Governor is refusing to concede the race. With approximately 5,000 (of more than 1.2 million) votes separating the candidates, perhaps there is legitimacy to his position.
